Alongside that corporate work, I've spent over a decade consulting non-profit organizations: sharpening program messaging, developing corporate outreach programs, launching communications strategies, and building the reporting infrastructure to support fundraising goals.

In that experience, I noticed something.

Mission-driven organizations, non-profit and for-profit alike, need more capacity but they're short on margin.

Every dollar raised or earned gets pulled toward the mission. Which is exactly as it should be. But it leaves little room to invest in the deeper strategic work that actually helps that mission scale.

I've heard some version of this from more than one founder: I wish I could hire you full time. I just can't afford it yet.

That gap, big goals and constrained margin, is exactly where my fractional work belongs.

So I started this consulting practice, The Stewardship Project. A way to steward my time and experience for organizations doing mission-driven work, so both mission and margin can scale, whether that's a strategic build or embedded fractional leadership.

It's where I have the heart to serve. And it's where I want to steward what I've built in my career.
